Dr. Stuart Tucker
Dr. Tucker is first and foremost a father and an advocate for children. His passion for children and their well-being is what led him to a career in pediatric dentistry. To Dr. Tucker, there is nothing sweeter than a beaming smile or laugh from a child and he takes great pride in helping children achieve the confidence that comes from a healthy smile.
Dr. Tucker is a big kid at heart and his favorite hobbies include wrestling with his children, building forts in the living room, movie nights cuddled on the couch, and being in nature with his kiddos.
His dedication to children has translated into the passionate care and environment he gives to his patients and their parents on a daily basis.
Dr. Tucker grew up in a very small community in the mountains and is one of 8 children. Being from a large family, taking care of younger siblings was a part of his everyday life. Being an active member of the community has been a passion of Dr. Tucker’s from a young age. After earning his Eagle Scout, he became a den leader for a local boy scout troop to give back to the scouting organization that guided him through years of learning and growth.
Dr. Tucker was a member of 4-H and FFA where he raised animals that were sold at the local county fair in order to support families in the community. He also volunteered every summer at the county fair where he was the lead cook for a charity grill whose proceeds funded local school organizations.

Dr. Clara Kohlmetz
Dr. Clara Kohlmetz (or Dr. K to her patients) is still a Texan at heart, but has enjoyed exploring North Carolina and becoming a part of the Triad community. She found her passion for dentistry while working as a dental assistant, temping for several offices in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Her top priority is patient comfort and providing support to patients while they work towards achieving their dental goals. Nothing gives her greater satisfaction than getting patients out of pain and helping them work through their dental anxiety.
Dr. Kohlmetz was raised in Allen, TX before attending the University of Houston where she earned her BS in Chemistry. She then stayed in Houston to pursue her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UTHealth Science Center School of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Kohlmetz was a very active participant in organized dentistry through the American Student Dental Association, serving as the Houston chapter president and District 9 Trustee. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and North Carolina Dental Society.
When not at work, Dr. Kohlmetz plays flute in a community band and enjoys hiking, trying new recipes, reading new books with a local book club, and trying to beat her crossword-puzzle-solving record. She is excited to be joining the team at Dash City Dental and looks forward to forming lasting relationships with patients and their families.
